​In the UK there are strict fire safety standards that mattresses must pass before they can be sold to the public. An overwhelming majority of manufacturers achieve this certification by treating their products with chemical fire retardants. ​This never sat right with us, and we worked to develop a cover fabric that met the safety requirements without the need for any chemicals whatsoever.

We are also the only mattress manufacturer to add a hypoallergenic finishing pr​ocess to our covers. We treat them with natural extracts to guarantee protection from dust mites and bed bugs - perfect for allergy sufferers, whose conditions are often triggered by these unwelcome bedfellows.

    Firm mattress is too hard

    Was advised to buy the firm mattress even though I like a soft mattress, as I’m tall and 96kg. However, whilst it may provide support it like sleeping in a plank. Delivery men were excellent and the shop staff were very helpful and attentive in Chiswick. The mattress is clearly well made. However, it’s utterly useless as it’s too firm and now I have choice but to spend another £500+ on a topper.

    Love at first slumber

    It’s been a year since I purchased my mattress from the naturalmat store in Chiswick. This mattress is the best investment in my home to date! I fall asleep easier and wake up feeling rested and comfy! Would recommend!

    Zips & heating up

    The mattress, when compared to our previous one, has two issues. Firstly, we chose different firmness (husband went for a soft mattress and I went for medium) so we have a difference between us where our zipped mattresses come together and this is not so good. Secondly, this mattress makes husband hotter! Otherwise, we think it is quite comfy. However, we had quite a firm mattress before (25 years old). Husband is enjoying his soft mattress but we feel a bit divided by the zipped part down the middle. And the heat isn't good so we are experiencing mixed blessings.

What You Need To Know About Delivery

  • When can I expect delivery?

    Our current delivery time for mattresses is 4-5 weeks. We’ll be in touch the week before your delivery date to discuss a convenient time and talk through any access issues for your property.

  • How does my mattress get to me?

    Our mattresses are delivered by our own two man team who will take it up to your bedroom and get it all set up. We deliver our mattresses in reusable duffel bags (rather than plastic) which we will then take away again.

  • Can you take away my old mattress?

    Absolutely! Please add the Mattress Recycling product to your order and your old mattress will either be recycled, or if it’s in good condition, it will be cleaned and donated to charity.
