An expertly designed, adaptable co-sleeping crib from our friends at Gaia Baby.
The Hera Bedside Crib² is designed to provide a safe, secure, and comfortable night’s sleep for you and your baby. Safety certified to the highest global standards, this natural wood bedside crib is handmade from 100% real ash wood from sustainably managed forests, ensuring your little one is not exposed to harmful chemicals.
The Hera Crib has five adjustable height options so it can sit at the same height as your mattress, as well as a drop down panel which allows for maximum visibility and ease of access during the night for feeding and comforting your baby. The interior is made of soft organic cotton, which helps your newborn regulate their body temperature.
Made by Gaia Baby, a company which shares many of our core values to make safe baby products that are sustainable, handmade and durable as they evolve with your child.
The Hera Crib comes with our natural-fibre Crib Coco Mat mattress. Handmade in Devon using organic & sustainable materials, the Crib Coco Mat is firm, flat and breathable, as recommended by our partners The Lullaby Trust.
Our mattress features a cover made from a blend of wool & cotton - woven tightly in such a way that our covers are naturally fireproof, with no need for chemical fire retardants. Likewise, our covers are finished with an OEKO-tex certified, plant-based geraniol treatment to make them bed-bug and dust-mite resistant - perfect for children with allergies.

Each and every organic & chemical-free baby mattress is carefully handcrafted in our Devon workshop by a highly-skilled team of local craftspeople.

The items will be wrapped in home compostable packaging made from potato starch, and delivered in a recycled cardboard box.

The safest mattresses for your baby are firm and flat and protected by a waterproof cover, which is why we include a waterproof mattress protector by default. Of course you’re welcome to remove it if you already have one, but it’s important to ensure that it fits the mattress you’re buying.
