The Mohair Mat is the most luxurious of our Nursery mattresses, padded with mohair from the coat of the Angora goat.
Here’s how it's made: an inner core of springy horsetail fibre is flanked by layers of firm, supportive coir for a well ventilated and supportive sleep space. These layers are bordered by pads of luxurious mohair for outstanding comfort.

From the soft fleece of the Angora goat, a luxuriant layer of insulation and breathability.

The most traditional of mattress fillings, horsetail fibres are incredibly durable and provide natural bounce.

Organic coconut husk fibres, bound with rubber. Breathable, supportive, durable, and an infinitely renewable material.

The mattress is really nice and firm, and my toddler seems to love sleeping on it. My only complaint is that it smells very strongly of horsehair/mohair - which of course is to be expected but I wonder if there is any way to air this out in the warehouse before dispatch? We've had the mattress for 2 weeks now and while the smell has reduced with us having windows open every day it's still noticeably there... my toddler doesn't seem to mind though so that's good!

The products of this company are nothing short of excellent. This is my fifth order, with my previous orders arriving quickly and in immaculate condition. I recently had a problem which resulted in my baby's mattress arriving damaged (couriers fault, not naturalmat) and they dealt with this issue promptly and professionally. It's great to know that customer service is to such a high standard. I am hoping to purchase a bedding set and a new mattress for my own bed!

We had a naturalmat coco mat for our baby’s mini cot but he has now moved into a larger cot bed so decided on the mohair mat. The quality is excellent, a nice firm mattress that seems comfy and will last years. Very helpful customer service team and prompt delivery.
