The Natural Teen Mattress has all the durability and comfort of our grown-up range - ideal for their first bed.

Here’s how it’s done: a core of organic coir is the foundation of this mattress, providing firmness and unmatched breathability. Flanking the core are layers of bouncy natural latex for springiness, and thick lashings of moisture-wicking, temperature-regulating cotton fibre.

    Unbleached and undyed, this cotton fibre layer is remarkably springy and self-ventilating.

  • 2. Natural Latex

    From the sap of the Hevea rubber tree. A springy and supportive natural alternative to synthetic foams.

  • 3. Organic Coir

    Organic coconut husk fibres, bound with rubber. Breathable, supportive, durable, and an infinitely renewable material.

  • 4. Organic Wool

    Sourced from organic farms local to us in the Southwest. Amazingly breathable, it helps your child regulate their body temperature.

Made with older children in mind (hence the name), the Natural Teen mattress is the perfect next step in your little one's sleeping career, as they grow and require more support. It sits between our baby mattresses and full size adult mattresses as a better value but still wonderfully comfortable option.

Like all of our mattresses, the Natural Teen is free of any harmful chemicals and superbly breathable. Layers of coconut coir and natural latex (tapped from the hevea tree) provide firmness and breathability, while thick sheets of cotton wick away moisture and regulate their temperature to ensure a great night’s sleep, every night.

The Natural Teen is encased in a natural cotton-wool cover, woven so tightly that the cover is naturally fireproof with no need for synthetic FR treatment. Likewise, our covers are finished with GREENFIRST® - an plant-based treatment made from eucalyptus, lavender and lemon extract - making them bed-bug and dust-mite resistant, perfect for children with allergies.

Clever Covers

​In the UK there are strict fire safety standards that mattresses must pass before they can be sold to the public. An overwhelming majority of manufacturers achieve this certification by treating their products with chemical fire retardants. ​This never sat right with us, and we worked to develop a cover fabric that met the safety requirements without the need for any chemicals whatsoever.

We are also the only mattress manufacturer to add a hypoallergenic finishing pr​ocess to our covers. We treat them with natural extracts to guarantee protection from dust mites and bed bugs - perfect for allergy sufferers, whose conditions are often triggered by these unwelcome bedfellows.
