​Classic symmetry and squared corners combine for a subtle headboard that won't look out of place in any bedroom. Standing at 124cm high, the Lanyard has a subdued yet elegant feel, and is therefore amazingly versatile.

The Lanyard Headboard pairs excellently with our range of bed bases - In fact, we think it works great with our Salcombe divan base - forming the Lanyard Child Bed.

​Padded with lambswool and available for upholstery in a range of marvellous natural-fibre fabrics, the Lanyard Child Headboard is perfectly proportioned - and something of a customer favourite!

At Naturalmat, we believe that people, not machines, make a superior, long-lasting product. We make all of our headboards right here in Topsham and it could be Jeff (pictured here!) who builds yours – starting with assembling the frame, then layering up the natural fibres to create our soft, supple padding, and finally upholstering it in the fabric you’ve chosen.

Our Fabrics

As standard, we have curated a collection of 19 natural-fibre fabrics, all woven in the UK and chosen not only for their look & feel, but also for the ethos & sustainability credentials of the mill itself.

If you’d like to see them in person, visit one of our showrooms or order up to 5 free fabric samples using the fabric selector at the top of the page, which should arrive within a week.

What You Need To Know About Delivery

  • When can I expect delivery?

    Our current delivery time for headboards is 4 - 6 weeks. We’ll be in touch the week before your delivery date to discuss a convenient time and talk through any access issues for your property.

  • How will my headboard arrive?

    Your headboard will arrive in one piece - please check it will fit up the stairs before placing your order!

  • Will you help me build it?!

    Yes, fear not! Our headboards are delivered by our own two man team who will take it up to your bedroom, assemble it for you and take away any packaging for reuse.
