Mattresses

Our mattresses are made by hand in our solar-powered Devon workshop with natural & organic fibres. Better for you, and the planet. We've been making natural mattresses for over two decades, and in that time we have gone to great lengths to carefully source the most amazing natural and renewable materials. We replace sweaty synthetic foams with pads of organic coconut fibres bound together with natural latex. We harness the naturally fire retardant properties of wool in our covers, which allow us to make mattresses completely free of nasty fire retardant chemicals.  

These incredible natural fibres are combined by hand by our team of skilled craftspeople, all under one roof in our Devon workshop. We believe that people, not machines, make a superior, long-lasting product.

At Naturalmat we make two main types of mattress – Natural Fibre & Pocket Sprung. Both contain layers of natural, organic fibres, and Pocket Sprung mattresses include a core of springs. Natural Fibre mattresses have a firmer, denser feel, whilst Pocket Sprung mattresses are softer & bouncier.

All of our mattresses come with our 45 Day Sleep Promise, a 10-Year Guarantee and are covered by our Mattress For Life Initiative™ – our pioneering commitment to ensuring no Naturalmat mattress ever ends up in landfill. When your Naturalmat nears the end of its lifespan, we offer three options – Refurbish, Recycle, or Donate.
