Delivery
Delivery is free of charge and our current delivery time for mattresses is 4-6 weeks. If you’d like us to take away your old mattress when we deliver please add The Mattress Recycling product to your basket. You can find more info below or on our Delivery page.

We marry the traditional sprung comfort of hand-nested pocket springs with wonderfully supportive and breathable natural latex - a natural, chemical-free alternative to synthetic foam. Our Mattress for Life Initiative™ ensures this should never happen to our mattresses. When your Naturalmat nears the end of its lifespan (around 10 years from now!), we offer three options to ensure absolutely nothing goes to landfill:

Clever Covers
In the UK there are strict fire safety standards that mattresses must pass before they can be sold. The majority of manufacturers achieve this certification by treating their products with chemical fire retardants, but this never sat right with us. So we developed a unique covering fabric, woven with a blend of organic cotton and wool, that met the safety requirements without the need for any chemicals whatsoever.
We are also the only mattress manufacturer to add a hypoallergenic finishing process to our covers. We treat them with an Oeko-Tex certified geraniol treatment to guarantee protection from dust mites and bed bugs - perfect for allergy sufferers, whose conditions are often triggered by these unwelcome bedfellows.
Handmade in Devon
At Naturalmat, we believe that people, not machines, make a superior, long-lasting product. Our team of craftspeople ensure every stitch, every fibre, every tufting button and every cover is painstakingly created, teased and checked. That’s why we proudly stamp ‘Made by hand in Devon’ on all of our mattresses.
Sustainable Packaging
We’ve never liked the idea of delivering our beds and mattresses in reams of bulky, plastic packaging - so we challenged ourselves to get rid of it altogether.
In 2021 we introduced these sturdy, waterproof reusable delivery bags, which were specially made for us in the UK. We now deliver almost all of our beds and mattresses in these reusable bags, saving over 5,000kg of single-use plastic since their introduction.

I've slept on this mattress in hotel rooms, and loved it. When we moved house, buying one for our new bed was a bit of a no-brainer. I'm delighted with it, so comfy. Also beautifully handled by naturalmat throughout the order process, and delivery.

From start to finish very impressed by the service we had. We called up the customer services team as we worried our super king mattress would not fit and the assistant was so helpful. In the end nothing to worry about as the direct delivery team from Devon travelled up and got it up the stairs!

What You Need To Know About Delivery

When can I expect delivery?
Our current delivery time for mattresses is 4 - 6 working weeks. We’ll be in touch the week before your delivery date to discuss a convenient time and talk through any access issues for your property.

How does my mattress get to me?
Our mattresses are delivered by our own two man team who will take it up to your bedroom and get it all set up. We deliver our mattresses in reusable duffel bags (rather than plastic) which we will then take away again.

Can you take away my old mattress?
Absolutely! Please add the Mattress Recycling product to your order and your old mattress will either be recycled, or if it’s in good condition, it will be cleaned and donated to charity.
