The Superb Mattress

I love my new mattress - super comfortable, great quality. Customer service was wonderful, calling me to clarify a few things once I had ordered online and suggesting an even better configuration for my needs. I think it’s brilliant that the mattresses are made locally, and actually really good value for money everything considered. Would highly recommend!

We were recommended Naturmat and the Superb by friends. They said it was the best mattress they’d ever slept on, and that was good enough for us. We haven’t had many mattresses in our lives but this is undoubtedly the best ever. Pricey on the face of it but when we compared it with mattresses in a top store it wasn’t, so great value as well as comfort. Highly recommended.

We chose the Superb as it is the most popular and used by hotels. It is very well made and uses organic, natural materials. We have had the mattress for a few weeks and have realised it is too firm for us. We are both side sleepers and quite slim and we find that it causes us to have sore hips. We phoned Naturalmat who first suggested we buy a mattress topper, which we did (the “Trendy” topper. Unfortunately this didn’t help, so we have now decided to swap the mattress for a softer tension one. Thankfully, Naturalmat have a scheme that allows us to do this and only pay for the delivery. We are now waiting for the new mattress to be made.

Very comfy and natural with the carick bed

We invested in a new superking (zip link) mattress and are really pleased with it. We spent a lot of time in the showroom with very helpful staff, as it's a lot of money to spend. The delivery team were also excellent (although our bed from a different supplier was delayed and we had to sleep on the floor for a few days, then move the mattress on to the bed ourselves!). I've only dropped one star as we are glad we didn't go for the firmest option as this is still quite firm, and combined with feeling the join in the mattresses we've had to get a mattress topper to cover the join and to give it a bit more cushioning on the top. It's supportive and isn't causing any issues but doesn't have the cosy nestling-in feel without a softer topper. If I get 15 years from this mattress like I did my previous one, I'd happily bump it up to 5 stars! The superking is exceptionally heavy and wouldn't be manageable without the zip link, so definitely worth going for, but be prepared to get a topper too.
