Budleigh by name, bubbly by nature

Oozing with infectious charm, you can’t help but smile at The Budleigh Bed. Its larger-than-life character is captured by its marshmallow-like headboard, puffy silhouette and oversized wooden bun feet. The mattress sits on sturdy beech slats sunk down into the frame, to complement the bed’s low profile and soft corners.

The shape of the Budleigh bed lends itself extremely well to textured fabrics, like the stunning Bouclé pictured above. 

As with all Naturalmat beds, our team of skilled upholsterers use natural fibres instead of synthetic foam to create the Budleigh's voluptuous curves. They layer on generous amounts of recycled denim and locally-sourced organic wool to add breathability and comfort to the contemporary design. At a whopping 20cm thick, headboards don’t get much cosier than this!

The 4-piece construction (the headboard, two side rails and an end rail) makes the Budleigh more than capable of squeezing into rooms where access is tight or tricky, and don't worry, our delivery team will do the assembly.

At Naturalmat, we believe that people, not machines, make a superior, long-lasting product. We make all of our beds right here in Topsham and it could be Amelia (pictured here!) who builds yours – starting with assembling the frame, then layering up the natural fibres in the headboard and bed base, and finally upholstering it in the fabric you’ve chosen.

What You Need To Know About Delivery

  • When can I expect delivery?

    Our current delivery time for beds is 5-6 weeks. We’ll be in touch the week before your delivery date to discuss a convenient time and talk through any access issues for your property.

  • How will my bed arrive?

    We will deliver your bed in a reusable duffel bag (rather than plastic), with the base split or in one piece depending on the option you select above. Please consider whether your bed will fit up the stairs when making this choice!

  • Will you help me build it?!

    Yes, fear not! Our beds are delivered by our own two person team who will take it up to your bedroom, assemble it for you and bring the reusable duffel bags back to our workshop.
