Our 100% organic GOTS-certified Jersey Pillow Protectors.

Your pillows are an essential part of a good night’s sleep, but over time they can accumulate dust mites, allergens, sweat and oils. Pillow protectors act as a natural barrier, keeping your pillows clean and fresh, and extending their lifespan.

Our pillow protectors are made of GOTS-certified organic Jersey cotton, a finely knitted fabric known for its soft, comfy handfeel and stretch. The knitting technique gives it an elastic quality which moves with your body and makes it easier to make your bed. They feature a zip closure to ensure a snug fit, and a zip pull cover to prevent snagging.

Our GOTS-certified pillow protectors are made for us in a family-run mill in Portugal. GOTS is the most stringent organic certification and ensures that ethical production standards are met at every stage of the process. Made from organic cotton grown in India without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers, these protectors are naturally hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin. The breathable fabric helps regulate your body temperature while reducing moisture buildup, which prevents mould and mildew growth, ensuring a fresh and healthy sleeping environment.

All of our bed linen is certified by the Soil Association to GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), which is the most stringent organic certification.

It ensures that the least amount of water and zero harmful chemicals or pesticides have been used in the production process, and that the farmers who grow and process the crop are treated well and paid a fair living wage.

This means you can rest assured that you’re sleeping on sheets that are healthier for you, and better for the planet.

Why Portugal?

We’re proud to handcraft practically everything we do here in Devon, but for our bed linen it makes far more sense to work with a partner who specialises in exactly that. So for our organic bed linen, we headed to Portugal, home to some of the finest textile mills and skilled makers in the world. There, we found a GOTS-certified partner with impressive sustainability credentials, including a workshop powered by the solar panels on its roof (sound familiar?) and a system to recycle the water they use in the production process.
