The Tremendous is far from your average mattress topper. We combine the most luxurious natural materials with a level of handcraftsmanship equal to our most expensive mattresses.
We start with a core of springy, supportive natural latex, and surround this top & bottom with sumptuous cashmere and locally sourced organic wool. We then wrap these premium natural fibres in the same clever covers we use across our mattress range, which are naturally hypoallergenic and meet all safety standards without the need for any nasty chemical fire retardants.

This blend of natural materials all add up to a lofty 7cm deep topper that can transform an uncomfortable mattress, and dramatically improve air circulation to prevent you overheating at night (a particular issue with memory and other synthetic foam mattresses). Alternatively the Tremendous can simply add an extra layer of body hugging comfort to elevate your bed’s luxury to the next level.

Clever Covers

In the UK there are strict fire safety standards that mattresses & toppers must pass before they can be sold. The majority of manufacturers achieve this certification by treating their products with chemical fire retardants, but ​this never sat right with us. So we developed a unique covering fabric, woven with a blend of organic cotton and wool, that met the safety requirements without the need for any chemicals whatsoever.

We are also the only manufacturer to add a hypoallergenic finishing process to our covers. We treat them with an Oeko-Tex certified geraniol treatment to guarantee protection from dust mites and bed bugs - perfect for allergy sufferers, whose conditions are often triggered by these unwelcome bedfellows.

Our team of craftspeople ensure every stitch, every fibre, every tufting button and every cover is painstakingly created, teased and checked. That’s why we proudly stamp ‘Made by hand in Devon’ on all of our toppers.

Sustainable Packaging

Our toppers are rolled up and double wrapped in our signature sugarcane bioplastic packaging to keep it dry and safe in transit. We also use some of our offcut fabric strips to tie up the rolled topper, keeping it intact.

When you receive your topper, you can either recycle the bioplastic through your local council (if they collect LDPE 4 soft plastics) or drop it off at one of your local supermarkets that accept flexible plastics for recycling.

    The title says it all. More importantly it is accurate.

    The description is spot on, added to which it really is the best mattress topper I have ever slept on.

    Put simply sleeping on this mattress topper lets you wake up in the morning knowing that you have had a good night's sleep.

    Fabulous topper

    We are happy and have had very good sleeps since we purchased our ‘ Tremendous topper’ at the beginning of December. It’s quite firm, but very comfortable to sleep on. It does have a slight ‘smell’ of wool still, but we make sure to air every day and hope that this will eventually disappear.

    Very comfortable topper

    I purchased this topper to go on top of a blow up mattress. My sister came to visit and said she felt like she was sleeping on a proper bed and that it was super comfortable.
