​In the French language, the word sommeil is synonymous with sleep. We had trouble finding a better word to romantically sum up this elegant statement bed.

The curved and striking silhouette of the headboard, combined with those intricately turned wooden legs, creates a traditional yet timeless impression - which is sure to turn heads.

At Naturalmat, we believe that people, not machines, make a superior, long-lasting product. We make all of our beds right here in Topsham and it could be Amelia (pictured here!) who builds yours – starting with assembling the frame, then layering up the natural fibres in the headboard and bed base, and finally upholstering it in the fabric you’ve chosen.

Our Fabrics

As standard, we have curated a collection of 19 natural-fibre fabrics, all woven in the UK and chosen not only for their look & feel, but also for the ethos & sustainability credentials of the mill itself.

What You Need To Know About Delivery

  • When can I expect delivery?

    Our current delivery time for beds is 5-6 weeks. We’ll be in touch the week before your delivery date to discuss a convenient time and talk through any access issues for your property.

  • How will my bed arrive?

    Some of our bed bases break down into side rails, foot end and headboard - others will arrive as one piece. Please consider whether your bed will fit up the stairs when making your selection!

  • Will you help me build it?!

    Yes, fear not! Our beds are delivered by our own two-person team who will take it up to your bedroom, assemble it for you and take away any packaging for reuse.
