We are particularly proud of the locally sourced, certified organic wool that we use across our range - you can find it in our beds, mattresses, bedding and in just about everything we make.
All of our wool comes from organic farms certified to GOTS standards by either the Soil Association or Organic Farmers & Growers, two organisations that ensure the strictest standards of animal welfare are followed - you can find out more about how organic standards mean for the animals being farmed here.
The sheep primarily feed on organic grasslands (grown naturally without any chemical fertilisers or pesticides) and are raised with a precautionary approach to prevent disease i.e. are not sprayed with any chemicals.
Once the sheep have been sheared, the wool is collected from the farms and taken to a certified organic scouring plant, where it is thoroughly washed and cleaned using gentle detergents. The wool is then processed and turned into mattress pads for us to use.
