Delivery

Delivery is free of charge. The cotbed will be shipped directly from Gaia Baby. Their lead times are 2-3 working weeks. We will aim to dispatch the mattress around the same time. You can find more info below or on our delivery page.

An expertly designed, adaptable cot bed from our friends at Gaia Baby.

Sleek and smooth! The Hera 'Studio Edit' Cot Bed is a streamlined addition to Gaia Baby’s award-winning Hera family. Like all their Hera range, the 'Studio Edit' cotbed offers both style and longevity for your little one. Suitable from birth to 5 years+, it’s made from 100% natural German beech wood, sustainably sourced from FSC-certified forests.

Featuring softly curved ends (no sharp edges!) and bevelled edging on the A-frame legs, the high-quality hand finish creates a bold, contemporary statement. With a compact footprint (131x64cm), this natural cot bed is ideal for smaller spaces while still providing convertibility for up to 5 years.

The Hera 'Studio Edit' cotbed comes with our natural-fibre Coco Mat mattress. Handmade in Devon using organic & sustainable materials, the Coco Mat is firm, flat and breathable, as recommended by our partners The Lullaby Trust.

Our nursery mattress features a cover made from a blend of wool & cotton - woven tightly in such a way that our covers are naturally fireproof, with no need for chemical fire retardants. Likewise, our covers are finished with an OEKO-tex certified, plant-based geraniol treatment to make them bed-bug and dust-mite resistant - perfect for children with allergies.

The cotbed grows with your child through 5 different stages: with three adjustable mattress heights (Newborn, 3 months, 6 months+) then easily converts from a cot to a Toddler Bed (2-3 years) and a first bed (4-5 years).

The safest mattresses for your baby are firm and flat and protected by a waterproof cover, which is why we include a waterproof mattress protector by default (additional charges apply). Of course you’re welcome to remove it if you already have one, but it’s important to ensure that it fits the mattress you’re buying.

Over twenty years ago, we created the first baby mattress made from entirely natural fibres. We knew then that when it comes to where your child sleeps, organic and natural materials are simply better - for them, and for the planet.

Natural fibres are breathable, supportive, comfortable, naturally hypoallergenic, and help your baby better regulate their body temperature, all adding up to a better night’s sleep.

Each and every organic & chemical-free baby mattress is carefully handcrafted in our Devon workshop by a highly-skilled team of local craftspeople.

Much of our curated selection is designed to grow with your child, ensuring they enjoy more than a few months of use and maintain a sense of familiarity for your (quickly) growing baby.

What You Need To Know About Delivery

  • When can I expect delivery?

    The current delivery time is 2-3 working weeks.

  • How will my furniture arrive?

    Your cotbed will be delivered directly from Gaia Baby by their logistics partners and we will send the mattress directly from our workshop in Devon. You will receive email notification from the courier when your items have been dispatched.

  • How will my items be packaged?

    The items will be securely wrapped and delivered in a recycled cardboard box.
