A natural & sustainable Danish cot

​With its simple and light form, the Leander Luna combines true Nordic design with the best of sustainable materials to create a versatile, safe and secure cot. Its flexible design incorporates an adjustable height mattress base and removable side rails, allowing it to grow with your child from birth to 18 months and beyond.

​Start with the mattress base in the raised position, bringing baby closer to you for tummy time and bedtime. When baby reaches their curious climbing stage, simply lower the mattress base into the cot, and the rounded spindles will provide a safe sleeping environment in which your little one can also learn to stand independently.

When they're old enough, the optional Leander Luna Conversion Kit allows you to convert the cot into an open bed with or without a low bed rail - ensuring your little one retains familiarity in their sleep space for as long as possible.

About Leander

In 1998, with his sister-in-law expecting twins, a thought was sparked in Stig Leander's head. Would it be possible to design a cradle that could calm one of the twins while the other was fed?

A trained blacksmith, Stig set out to create a simple, functional piece of furniture that would meet a real need. Thus, the first series of the now legendary Leander Classic Cradle was born.

Over 20 years on, Leander are still at the forefront of innovative, honest nursery furniture, helping children all over the world sleep safer and more sustainably.

Convert Your Luna

As your baby grows and becomes more independent, the Leander Luna can be transformed to accomodate their changing needs with the Leander Luna Conversion Kit.

Depending on your child's needs, choose from a low bed rail or open bed conversion, granting your little one the opportunity to get in and out of bed independently.

Then, once your child has moved into their first single bed, the Luna can either be passed onto a sibling or another family (thanks to its sturdy design), or it can be used as a stylish sofa for their bedroom or playroom.

Over twenty years ago, we created the first baby mattress made from entirely natural fibres. We knew then that when it comes to where your child sleeps, organic and natural materials are simply better - for them, and for the planet.

Natural fibres are breathable, supportive, comfortable, naturally hypoallergenic, and help your little one better regulate their body temperature. This all adds up to better sleep.

What You Need To Know About Delivery

  • When can I expect delivery?

    The current delivery time for the Leander Luna is 4-6 weeks.

  • How will my cot arrive?

    Your Leander Luna will be delivered by one of our national logisitics partners. You will receive an email notification when it has left our workshop.

  • What about my mattress?

    If you've ordered a mattress to fit your Leander Luna, it will be shipped from our workshop at the same time in a separate parcel.
