The Coco Mat - Brands

The Quilted Coco Mat is the firmest and most breathable of our nursery mattress range, perfect for newborns. We hand-make our Coco Mat to fit a range of brands, including Snüz, Chicco, Stokke, Leander, IKEA, Boori, Bloom and Oliver Furniture.

The materials in the Coco Mat are naturally breathable and self-ventilating to help babies regulate their body temperature for a long and comfortable night’s sleep. We source our wool directly from Soil Association certified organic farms local to us in the South West, and our coir is grown by the world’s only certified organic coconut plantation in Sri Lanka.

Our childrens’ mattresses are dreamily comfortable, wonderfully breathable and tremendously sustainable. You’ll find no sweaty plastics, synthetic foams, VOCs, or any other chemicals whatsoever. We’ve swapped these out for supremely comfortable natural materials like our locally-sourced organic lambswool, certified organic coir and natural latex foam.

What’s more, we harness the naturally fire retardant properties of wool in our covers - which allows us to make childrens’ mattresses completely free of nasty fire retardants. Treated with GREENFIRST® - an all-natural treatment made from eucalyptus, lavender and lemon extract - our mattresses are also bed-bug and dust-mite resistant, making them perfect for children with allergies. Better for them, better for the planet.
