The Mohair Mat is the most luxurious of our Nursery mattresses, padded with mohair from the coat of the Angora goat.
Here’s how it's made: an inner core of springy horsetail fibre is flanked by layers of firm, supportive coir for a well ventilated and supportive sleep space. These layers are bordered by pads of luxurious mohair for outstanding comfort.

From the soft fleece of the Angora goat, a luxuriant layer of insulation and breathability.

The most traditional of mattress fillings, horsetail fibres are incredibly durable and provide natural bounce.

3. Organic Coir
Organic coconut husk fibres, bound with rubber. Breathable, supportive, durable, and an infinitely renewable material.

4. Removable Washable Cover
Made from unbleached cotton and machine washable at 40º to combat stains and other nasties.
Complies with all standards (BS EN 16890:2017 +A1:2021 and BS7177:2008 for domestic use, and with Fire and Safety Furniture Regulations 1998).

Purchased the mohair mat for our baby’s crib after researching natural mattress options and this mattress stood out for quality materials and relative price compared to other brands.
The team was communicative throughout, we got a second-hand crib with a peculiar size and ended up needing a made-to-measure mattress and the cost was only a 15 pound extra difference in price (quite reasonable in my opinion for a mattress that’s made just for you).
Order was produced and shipped quickly and arrived well packaged even though the delivery driver from the shipping company left it outside in the rain :/. No rolled up foam in a small box, no folded mattress that needs a day or two to decompress, no off gassing, actually there’s a very pleasant natural scent to the mattress.
Was apprehensive about the cost for a baby mattress and thought, can they even tell? Well, plopped baby in first time and noticed a huge smile and a super happy baby. Maybe they appreciate natural materials more than we realize. Now have this mattress on our wishlist for ourselves. Overall, thrilled with my purchase thanks to the team.

Got this mattress to replace a thinner one for my toddler and we’re very happy with it. It’s firm but with enough give and softness and seems very comfortable.
We got our king size mattress from here too - great quality and great customer service too.

The mattress is really nice and firm, and my toddler seems to love sleeping on it. My only complaint is that it smells very strongly of horsehair/mohair - which of course is to be expected but I wonder if there is any way to air this out in the warehouse before dispatch? We've had the mattress for 2 weeks now and while the smell has reduced with us having windows open every day it's still noticeably there... my toddler doesn't seem to mind though so that's good!

Our nursery mattresses are wrapped in home compostable packaging made from potato starch, and delivered in a recycled cardboard box.
