Our first-ever cot, designed to grow with your baby
Create the most natural sleep space for your baby with The Luca Cot and our Coco Mat mattress. The Luca is handcrafted from sustainably sourced European pine, with rounded, softly finished edges and a design built to keep up with rapidly growing children.
The base lowers in three stages as your baby grows, and when they’re ready for more freedom simply add the included conversion rail to create a cosy toddler bed with a protective side rail – giving them more independence while helping them feel secure.
The Luca Cot comes with our award-winning, 100% natural and chemical-free Coco Mat mattress, which we handcraft in our Devon workshop. Inside the mattress a core of organic coconut fibre provides the firm support babies need, whilst layers of breathable organic wool help them regulate their body temperature.
Available in Natural or White, simply assembled, and includes the conversion rail and our 60cm x 120cm Coco Mat.

Care Guide & Instructions
Wipe the frame clean with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner — no harsh chemicals needed
Keep the cot away from direct sunlight, radiators and damp or humid spots to protect the wood
Check and tighten all screws and fixings every 2-3 weeks, and always after moving the cot
The Coco Mat cover is removable and machine washable at 40°C on a delicate or wool cycle
Self-assembly required. Full instructions and fittings are included in the box
Safety Regulations
The Coco Mat mattress complies with BS EN 16890:2017 +A1:2021 and BS7177:2008 for domestic use, and with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988
Position the cot away from walls, furniture, curtains and blind cords, keeping a gap of less than 65mm or greater than 230mm to avoid any risk of entrapment
Always use the mattress supplied or one designed specifically for this cot, to avoid gaps that could pose a suffocation risk

What age is The Luca Cot suitable for and does it convert into a toddler bed?
The Luca Cot is suitable from birth up to 14kg and has been designed to grow with your baby. The base can be lowered through three height positions as they grow, before converting into a cosy toddler bed using the included conversion rail with a protective side rail for added security.
The Luca Cot features three adjustable cot base heights, allowing you to lower your baby's sleeping position as they grow. The highest position is 51cm from the floor, the middle position is 35.5cm and the lowest is 20.1cm, helping The Luca adapt to your baby through different stages of development.
Does The Luca Cot come with a mattress and what size is it?
Yes, The Luca Cot comes with our award-winning 60cm x 120cm Coco Mat cot mattress, handmade in our Devon workshop and designed to fit the cot perfectly. Made with a supportive core of organic coconut fibre and layers of breathable organic wool, it provides the firm, comfortable sleep surface babies need.
What sheets are recommended for The Luca Cot?
We recommend our Organic Jersey Cotton Fitted Sheets, made from soft, breathable 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton that's gentle and hypoallergenic for delicate baby skin. With a fine-knit jersey construction for just the right amount of stretch, they fit snugly over The Luca's 60cm x 120cm Coco Mat mattress for a smooth and comfortable sleep surface.
Do I need a mattress protector for The Luca Cot?
Yes, we recommend using a waterproof cot mattress protector to help keep your baby’s mattress clean, dry and hygienic, while protecting it from everyday spills, leaks and stains. Our Organic Waterproof Mattress Protector is breathable, machine washable and designed to provide a comfortable waterproof barrier while helping to prolong the life of your mattress.
