​With its adjustable mattress height and removable wheels & side rails, the Stokke Sleepi Bed is built to accommodate the changing needs of your little one from birth all the way to 5 years old. Perfect for babies and toddlers alike, its soft oval design cocoons your child offering comfort and familiarity for a restful, long night’s sleep. 

​Keep your newborn close by with the mattress in the raised position, then gradually lower the mattress as baby gets bigger and reaches their curious climbing stage. With a generous mattress length of 137cm, you won’t have to worry about expensive bed replacements. Instead, simply remove the wheels and one side of the frame to convert it into a toddler bed, granting them more independence and allowing them to get in and out of bed on their own.

The Sleepi concept was developed by Stokke with sound sleep and safety in mind. Built from solid European birch and finished with a non toxic & chemical-free lacquer, the Sleepi Bed embodies healthy & sustainable sleep.

​We’ve paired the Stokke Sleepi with our natural-fibre Coco Mat and Latex Mat mattresses. Handmade in Devon using natural & organic materials - and designed to fit the Sleepi Bed exactly - these are the perfect mattresses for your little one's sleep space. Please see below for more details.

Choosing Your Mattress

We've matched the Stokke Sleepi Bed with two of our natural fibre nursery mattresses - the Coco Mat & the Latex Mat.

For newborns and babies we recommend our Coco Mat. Made with a core of organic coir (coconut fibre) and padded with breathable certified organic wool, the Coco Mat provides a firm & flat sleep surface, as recommended for babies by the Lullaby Trust. Although it was designed with newborns in mind, the Coco Mat can be used well into their toddler years.

If you're planning on moving a toddler into the Sleepi Bed, we would suggest our Latex Mat. The layers of natural latex, organic coir and organic wool inside this mattress provide more supple natural support for their growing bodies.

Our quilted mattress covers are removable and washable and require no chemical fire retardants thanks to their tightly-woven cotton & wool outer. Finished with a plant-based, OEKO-tex certified treatment, our covers are also entirely hypoallergenic & dust mite resistant.

Over twenty years ago, we created the first baby mattress made from entirely natural fibres. We knew then that when it comes to where your child sleeps, organic and natural materials are simply better - for them, and for the planet.

Natural fibres are breathable, supportive, comfortable, naturally hypoallergenic, and help your little one better regulate their body temperature. This all adds up to better sleep.

  • When can I expect delivery?

    The current delivery time for the Stokke Sleepi Bed is 4-6 weeks.

  • How will my bed arrive?

    Your Sleepi Bed will be delivered by one of our national logisitics partners. You will receive an email notification when your order has been dispatched.

  • What about my mattress?

    If you've ordered a mattress to fit your Sleepi Bed, it will be shipped with the bed from our workshop in a separate parcel.
