1. Cashmere & Bamboo
From the soft fleece of cashmere or pashmina goats, a luxuriant layer of insulation and breathability.

From the sap of the Hevea rubber tree. A springy and supportive natural alternative to synthetic foams.

Why Buy a Topper?
A mattress topper is essentially a very thin mattress which is placed on top of your new or existing mattress to alter how it feels.
This could be to increase breathability, to adjust the softness of your mattress, or simply to provide an added layer of comfort and opulence!
Clever Covers
In the UK there are strict fire safety standards that mattresses & toppers must pass before they can be sold. The majority of manufacturers achieve this certification by treating their products with chemical fire retardants, but this never sat right with us. So we developed a unique covering fabric, woven with a blend of organic cotton and wool, that met the safety requirements without the need for any chemicals whatsoever.
We are also the only manufacturer to add a hypoallergenic finishing process to our covers. We treat them with an Oeko-Tex certified geraniol treatment to guarantee protection from dust mites and bed bugs - perfect for allergy sufferers, whose conditions are often triggered by these unwelcome bedfellows.
Handmade in Devon
At Naturalmat, we believe that people, not machines, make a superior, long-lasting product. Our team of craftspeople ensure every stitch, every fibre, every tufting button and every cover is painstakingly created, teased and checked. That’s why we proudly stamp ‘Made by hand in Devon’ on all of our toppers.
Sustainable Packaging
Our toppers are rolled up and double wrapped in our signature sugarcane bioplastic packaging to keep it dry and safe in transit. We also use some of our offcut fabric strips to tie up the rolled topper, keeping it intact.
When you receive your topper, you can either recycle the bioplastic through your local council (if they collect LDPE 4 soft plastics) or drop it off at one of your local supermarkets that accept flexible plastics for recycling.

Let me just start by saying that my husband and I are HUGE fans of Naturalmat. We have the duvets, pillows, bedding etc. In a world where most products are mass produced and customer service is dwindling, Naturalmat usually get it so right! The customer service in their stores is also incredible. However, we can’t help but feel disappointed. This topper is like a mini mattress. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Especially if your mattress is very old. But it doesn’t provide really any softness at all. We are now thinking about having to get an additional topper over this to add the softness which we desire. As this topper costs £900 we feel disappointed that we feel we need to do this. So, to clarify, this isn’t a bad product at all. But I just don’t think it’s enough for us sadly.
