At Naturalmat, we believe that people, not machines, make a superior, long-lasting product. We make all of our beds right here in Topsham and it could be Amelia (pictured here!) who builds yours – starting with assembling the frame, then layering up the natural fibres in the headboard and bed base, and finally upholstering it in the fabric you’ve chosen.

We have curated a collection of natural fibres fabrics, all woven in the UK and chosen not only for their look & feel, but also for the ethos & sustainability credentials of the mill itself. Using the fabric selector at the top of the page, you can order up to 5 free fabric swatches which should arrive within a week.

What You Need To Know About Delivery

  • When can I expect delivery?

    Our current delivery time for beds is 5-6 weeks. We’ll be in touch the week before your delivery date to discuss a convenient time and talk through any access issues for your property.

  • How will my bed arrive?

    We will deliver your bed in a reusable duffel bag (rather than plastic), with the base split or in one piece depending on the option you select above. Please consider whether your bed will fit up the stairs when making this choice!

  • Will you help me build it?!

    Yes, fear not! Our beds are delivered by our own two person team who will take it up to your bedroom, assemble it for you and bring the reusable duffel bags back to our workshop.
