A firmer pillow filled with organic wool
The Organic Wool Pillow has a firmer, more supportive feel than our feather and down pillows. The organic cotton cambric casing is stuffed at our Devon workshop with organic wool which we buy directly from farmers on our doorstep in the Southwest. Wool is a wonderful filling for pillows because it’s supportive, breathable and naturally hypoallergenic. There is also a zip on the case which allows you to remove some of the wool and tailor the size of the pillow exactly to your needs.

Washing instructions
Wash at 40ºc on a gentle cycle
Tumble dry on a low heat or leave to air dry
It’s important your pillow is completely dry before reuse

All of the wool that goes into our bedding is sourced from Soil Association certified organic farms local to our Devon workshop.
We buy direct from farmers in Devon, Cornwall and Dorset. This means a better quality of wool for us, and a better deal for the farmers.
By working only with certified organic farmers we can be confident that the health and wellbeing of the sheep is prioritised, and that their farming is undertaken in a way that is friendly to the surrounding environment.
The Wonders of Wool.
Wool really is a wondrous fibre. Any sheep would tell you that. Its properties make it the perfect filling for duvets and pillows.
Wool is an incredibly clever natural insulator that can keep you warm or cool when you need it to, thanks to tiny pockets of air within each wool fibre that provide both insulation and breathability.
It is also naturally moisture-wicking and antimicrobial, which makes it particularly inhospitable to bed bugs and dust mites, and also provides far greater odour resistance compared to synthetic fibres.

Naturally, our wool bedding comes packed in an environmentally friendly way!
No plastics or other single use materials are used at all. Your pillows and duvets make their way to you from Devon in their own protective cotton drawstring bag - which can then be reused as any number of things (we think they make amazing laundry bags!)

I knew I needed a new pillow for a long time but, even after lots of searches and reviews, couldn't find one that felt right. Then, having already followed Naturalmat - for their baby mattresses - I came across their pillows.
Along with comfort, I was interested in the natural credentials of their Organic Wool Pillow. The fact that it is naturally thermally regulating was a big thing for me.
The ordering process was simple and, when it arrived, it was thoughfully packaged, including the cotton bag it came in.
Having used it for a month or so now, I can safely say it is the pillow I was looking for - specifically, for side sleeping, but I'm also benefitting from it's thermoregulation during the warmer weather at night.
Will definitely be back for more bedding in the future.

After trying many pillows and suffering from a stiff neck, I finally discovered this wool pillow. It is so comfortable that I have bought another one. Fantastic that it can be washed and re shaped so easily.

I received this gorgeous all wool pillow recently to go with my new Abingdon bed, it is a lovely addition, firm but comfortable. It is very supportive for sitting up in bed and I thoroughly recommend it especially as it is made of all natural materials.
